Students in physical education at GRCES will be evaluated in the following categories:
Demonstrates competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical activity and fitness.
Exhibits responsible personal and social behavior that respects self and others in physical activity settings.
Scale for Content/Subject Areas:
1. A “1” means your child is beginning to understand the skill or concept taught thus far, but may be having some difficulty understanding it fully or applying the skill and/or concept.
2. A “2” means your child is developing in his or her understanding of the skill or concept taught thus far. The child is making good progress but is inconsistent in applying the skill independently.
3. A “3” means your child is secure in his or her understanding of the skill or concept taught thus far. The child demonstrates an accurate, consistent understanding of the skill or concept and can apply it independently.
