A bit about Mrs. Kingma
Welcome to my bio page! My name is Liz Kingma. I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am an alumna of Grand Rapids Christian High School and am grateful for the education I received there. I got my bachelor’s degree and Elementary Teaching Certificate from Calvin College. I have a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership & Administration from Calvin College and a Masters Degree in Technology Integration from Walden University. This is my 22nd year of teaching for Grand Rapids Christian. My husband Henry and I have been married for 21 years and have three children (Meili 14, Willem 12, Raymond 8) who all attend GRCS. We have a dog named Ace. I love reading, photography, being crafty, watching movies, camping, singing and traveling. I sing in the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus. I am passionate about social justice, education, adoption, and love my job because it allows me to nurture kids as they grow and learn more about their place in God’s kingdom. My family enjoys camping together, playing with our dog, gardening, traveling, going for bike rides and being outdoors. We attend First United Methodist Church of Grand Rapids.
