I am married and have three sons. One in the first grade, one in preschool and a 9 month old. I love to travel and experience living in various places all around the world. Of course, I love to explore galleries and museums wherever I go. I love nature and the beauty of God’s creation. In my spare time I enjoy working with ceramics and creating with my hands, hiking, camping, reading and spending time with my family.
I believe that all student are children of God and have been given talents to use for the glorification of Him. It is my responsibility to as an art educator to introduce and explore various mediums in the visual, fine arts world, which will help them express their creative voice. Also, as reformed individuals we must be able to be prepared to discern in the visual arts and draw meaning and understanding in what we are creating and viewing.
As reformed beings, I believe that we are called to be discerners of this world. We are to observe the world that we live in, however, we must always be conscious of how God asks us to live our lives.
